Guy Adami, age 47 – “Fast Money”
This Georgetown University graduate has made quite a career in the finance industry. He started after college working on the floor of The New York Mercantile Exchange and later joined Goldman Sachs’ commodity group as vice president in 1996. Currently you can find Guy on CNBC’s “Fast Money,” and managing director at Drakon Capital.
As a youth Guy excelled in athletics as Captain of both his high school’s varsity football and basketball teams. Adami was the MVP of the football team and was named all-league in both sports. However, Guy’s athletic abilities have yet to be tested in the world of endurance events.
While he knows that the training will be challenging, Guy has been inspired and motivated by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission, its patients, and the Team In Training program. As a new board member for the New Jersey Chapter of LLS, Guy wasted no time spearheading the efforts of developing this IronTeam. He is determined to not only raise significant money for research and patient services, but bring awareness to a cause he has become so passionate about and he knows that determination will get him to the finish line.
